If you are reading this, you are part of The Partnerhood community and I'm grateful to have you with me.
I thought I would write today to talk about this community and what it means to me.
In creating The Partnerhood, I imagined making an online community where new parents who were struggling with so many changes could go. I envisioned parenting partners strengthening their relationship through both the education offered in the online program as well as in connecting with other parents going through the same things. My mission was (and still is) to bring expectant and new parent partners together all over the world and help them better prepare for the rollercoaster of parenting together as a united front.
As of the official program launch in 2021, The Partnerhood has grown in ways I never imagined. We have over 500 email subscribers, about 250 group members, and 26 enrolled students. I can't wait to see how this community will continue to grow in the future!
I think what I'm most proud of though is how people are connecting virtually.
In the online group, we...
● Know how to laugh
● Aren't afraid to get real
● Understand that nobody's perfect
We do NOT...
● Shame other parents for their choices
● Pretend to have it all together
● Get into petty squabbles with strangers
It is my hope that everyone who is a part of The Partnerhood will be able to get support in their parenting and relationship journey. It is too important and too difficult to do it alone. Let’s link arms as a family. We're in this together.
If you aren't in this amazing group yet, I cordially invite you to join today to enhance your community experience.
